Step 1
Eat well. A healthy diet will provide your body with all the nutrients it needs to do its job properly. Remembering to eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables is easy when you’re on a diet, but don’t forget about fats. Drink plenty of water. It will keep you and your skin hydrated, making fine lines and wrinkles less likely to form. Most experts recommend you drink around eight glasses of water every day, but staff at the Mayo Clinic suggest if you drink enough throughout the day that you are rarely thirsty, you are probably getting enough fluid.

Use vitamin A. Applying moisturizer regularly will keep your skin soft, staving off wrinkles. In 2007, a group of scientists published an article in the “Archives of Dermatology” that found vitamin A, in the form of retinol, reduces the appearance of fine lines by maintaining moisture in the skin and increasing collagen production. There are many products containing vitamin A on the market these days, and you don’t need to spend a lot of money to find a good one.
Step 4
Avoid facial exercises. The Internet is full of wonder exercises to keep your face firm and wrinkle free, but experts at Skin Care Physicians warn that facial exercises can actually cause wrinkles, as furrows form in the skin with every movement. Concentrate on what you do with your face throughout the day. If you are prone to tense up the forehead or mouth when under stress, try to notice this and stop yourself.
